Michael Moore Exposed: Oh
My…

Most people either
love Michael Moore or hate him. Read a few of the reviews of his books on
Amazon.com and you will see what I mean:
Two reader reviews of
Stupid White Men:
“Moore is a bad writer, and this book
proves it. His theories and ideas border on juvenile, and what he
presents as facts are highly questionable. Save your money ..”
“Michael Moore is a national treasure.
All of his work has been brilliant and this book is his best work so
far. "Stupid White Men" makes it easy for us to understand what a
completely lame bunch of sheep we are, does it in an easy to read and
humorous way…”
Stupid White Men has an astonishing 1152 reader reviews on Amazon (most books----even
popular ones----have less than 100); and the majority of the book's
reviews are as
polarized as the above two. There are only 89 3-star reviews. Meanwhile,
there are 540 5-star reviews and 271 1-star reviews.
I confess that I have
never been much of a Michael Moore fan; but I have never felt a tremendous
urge to speak out against him in public. There is something cartoonishly
entertaining about a 400-lb, chronically unshaven millionaire who dresses
like an unemployed UAW worker. (By the way, Moore spent all of one day working on
the lines at General Motors.) His books (like the
aforementioned Stupid White Men) are more entertainment than
analysis----the Left’s answer to Rush Limbaugh. And there is evidence that
Michael Moore doesn’t take himself too seriously, either. He has publicly
admitted that Stupid White Men is “a book of political humor.” He
knows how to push people’s buttons; and he is laughing all the way to the
bank.
But Michael Moore
really annoys David T. Hardy, co-author of the book Michael Moore is a
Big Fat Stupid White Man, and webmaster of
MooreExposed.com.
You might think that opposition to a single political commentator would
come up short as material for an entire website; but Hardy rhapsodizes at
length about the foibles and misrepresentations of Michael Moore.
And when you are done
there, you can explore the multiple links on
MooreExposed.com.
Apparently opposition to Michael Moore has become a new subgenre on the
Internet. What a way to pass those last ten minutes of your lunch hour at
work.
